Hi Guys,
Harbhajan Singh (popularly known as Bhajji) of India got back his form at the right moment to help India win the first one day international match against England. After a dismal performance by the indian batters, bhajji who is not known for his batting stood firm at his crease and made 37 of 46 balls and later took 5 prize specially of Flintoff (the English captain) and collingwood giving up only 31 runs in 10 overs. That was one of the best performances of him specially when India needed it. At one point in time India was reeling at 147 for 7. Wish we could have some way to see these matches in US. Arre computer experts (in todays world Bhagwaans ofcourse after lawyers) kuch kamal dikhao.

I think for cricket crazy fans, the SA - AUS final match was the greatest match ever seen.
Australia made 434/4 in 50 overs.
Match writeup and scorecard
South Africa made 438/9 in 49.5 overs (one wicket to spare and one ball remaining)
Exciting last over finish
Here are the highlights of the SA successful run chase. Watch it!

Hey guys, just wanted to write about something cool. Tom Cruise came to visit Yahoo! today. He was a quite a bit late as he was flying his plane from LA to here, and there was some bad weather along the way. I could have gone to see him, but I had too much work to do…so I saw some of the live broadcast from my computer of his visit here. It was very cool…he’s a pretty personable guy…I had before never realized how many movies he is in that I really liked. Katie Holmes (his wife) was also there. I heard about some funny stories and got to see some unreleased footage of his new film Mission Impossible 3
Anyway…hope everyone have been well!

The pic above is of Tom and Yahoo’s CEO Terry Semel arm wrestling
You can see more pics from his visit here: http://flickr.com/photos/tags/ytomcruise/interesting/

Ok Sorry for the sad case subject line. But the truth is, for months now, I have not gotten bored of this song by Nayyara Noor called Ae Ishq Humein Barbad Na Kar. This is a ghazal by a fantastic female paksitani ghazal singer. If you want to try it out, you can download it here: nimit.maru.us/projects/songshare/fd.php?id=294
You should know though, this is not one of those dhastik-dhustik bhangra remixes that will make you want to get up and dance…but I love it anyway
PS- To the non-understanders of urdu: the title means, “yo love, stop destroying my life.”

Petey Sampras is back (kinda) to play some more
He will be playing World Team Tennis. This is exciting news, I hope to catch a couple of his games somehow (even though I have decided to not get cable at home). Read more here: http://url.vg/yahoo/ded102/petesamprastoplayworldte
