We are all celebrating our most auspicious holiday “Paryushan” and hope we all are progressing to remember our original nature, our soul, and our siddhas and arihants.  This week we all will do “Samvatsari Pratikraman” and will try to go back whole year and ask forgiveness for all our mistakes to each other and all other living beings from body, words and mind.

We want to think a little more because we get this body, words, and mind from our past karmas,  so we  want to do good karmas. But our utmost goal is to rid all karmas. So we will emphasize our biggest mistake of forgetting our own soul full of bliss, happiness, and energy and ask forgiveness for that.  We will learn from our jain scriptures how to go back to that original stage as all our siddhas and arihantas are able to do.

Our heartiest michhamidukkadam to all

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers!

This year is a special fathers day as we are welcoming our newest daughter, Sneha, into the Maru Family.

We are truly blessed with all of our kids.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar display of life around you. To seek joy in he saddest of places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never forget.

Hi Medavo! How are you? Long time no talk :) I’m well, just taking finals and enjoying the spring. I want to tell you about a major personal milestone I completed this weekend. I ran the 2011 Broad Street Run which is a yearly 10 mile race! I’ve never run this long a distance before (in fact I couldn’t even run a full mile in high school) so I was ecstatic to have completed it without stopping. Below are some pics and there are more in this album!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
