Dear family,
Apologies for not posting enough updates about Jaini on our website. We celebrated Jaini’s 2nd birthday in January so this would be good time to talk about the joy she is to us.
Two is such a fantastic age. Jaini is in true sense, a bundle of joy these days. We just can’t get enough of her. The things she says, the look she gives, her “nakharas” just leave us hoping that she doesn’t grow up too fast. She loves to sing and dance and enjoys singing various jain stavans. She loves to be bossy around Parth but also is very careful and possessive about his things around other friends. She follows Parth all day and wants to do everything he’s doing, (many times distracting him in whatever he’s doing). Some times when Parth has had enough of her, he would say, “let’s just send her back to the hospital where she came from…”
She’s Dhiren’s darling and she knows that very well. She would throw unexpected tantrums when he’s around just to get some pampering from him. She loves going to her playgroup and never wants to go home when I go to pick her up. She loves to pretend talk on the phone, carrying her doll in one hand and calculator in the other (pretending that’s a phone).
Jaini enjoyed her birthday party and getting all the attention from mom-dad, nanas-nanis and friends.

Parents in our family seemed to be getting younger by the age.. you are one great example of that. You always seem to have so much energy even at the last hour of the day. We admire your positive attitude in life along with your simplicity very much.

Today, Parth was helping me shred some papers. All of a sudden he said “Mommy, I’m your big helper, and Jaini is your little helper.” I asked him how he thought Jaini helped me.. and he said ” she eats all the stuff from the floor and that takes all the garbage away…”
Just wanted to share one of his best jokes with you all…

I’m glad today is finally here as Parth has been waiting anxiously for his birthday since the beginning of September… It has been a long wait for him… We kept assuring him that your birthday will come in October and once last month, he said, why can’t my birthday just come in September because I can’t wait… 
Then when october started, he kept asking almost everyday… is it my birthday now.. and we kept saying, not yet, it’ll be on oct. 31st …
So Parth, here’s wishing you a very happy 4th birthday! We love you very much… You’re the best!
