We’re married! It’s an amazing feeling and we owe thanks for much of the joy from this celebration to our family. You flew in from far away places, danced joyfully into late nights, sang heartily, dressed up beautifully and helped in every way possible to make our wedding more special than we could ever have imagined. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we hope to see you all again soon in June for the the last event of our wedding, the US reception!

Hi all, just wanted to make a post to honor Baia on her 2nd punyatithi.
Baia, you are still in my heart everyday. The way you lived your life, with dedication and compassion and care; what you taught me by your daily practice and your stories and sweet memories of spending 25 years with you — these thoughts and memories remind me of you daily and I find myself missing you often. I know that my missing you is just my “moha” and attachment towards you and as you said, we must work on removing that attachment. It brings me peace to know that your soul must have moved on to a higher state of being. Thank you for everything!

Hi Medavo! How are you? Long time no talk I’m well, just taking finals and enjoying the spring. I want to tell you about a major personal milestone I completed this weekend. I ran the 2011 Broad Street Run which is a yearly 10 mile race! I’ve never run this long a distance before (in fact I couldn’t even run a full mile in high school) so I was ecstatic to have completed it without stopping. Below are some pics and there are more in this album!

Hi all! Hope you had a wonderful new years! We launched medavo.org over 5 years ago in mid-2005. It started as a group blogging experiment. Since then, it has re-defined the way we know each other and communicate as a family. I feel we have come closer together through this Medavo. Medavo.org the site however, was long overdue for an upgrade.
Today, I spent time to upgrade Medavo.org to the latest, most secure software. This means you will see some change in the way you post on Medavo. Hopefully these changes are mostly self-explanatory but feel free to contact me or other computer-saavy family members anytime if you have questions or problems. I will keep tweaking the new install but the base should remain the same.
