Hi Medavo Family!
Thanks so much for your sweet birthday wishes. What a great welcome to the family!
I’ve been thinking about what to write for my very first post. Lots of pressure! Perhaps I’ll begin with the fact that I just made sambar and nearly smoked out my entire apartment after burning oil in the pan. (Cooking tip: do not burn oil in the pan.) Thankfully the sambar was salvaged and the fire alarm did not go off.
But in the Christmas interest of giving, I thought I’d share a recipe that I tried recently and that DID go well–Butternut Squash Lasagna. Here’s the link, which is pretty close to the one I followed. Don’t be deceived by the long recipe. If I can cook it, you can probably cook it in your sleep!

Thanks Tania and welcome to medavo family.
Your recipe will be very helpful now for us as Nalini and Neena both are gone, we can use all the recipes we can get hold of. We will try it out soon.

Dear Laadi bhabhi,
Thanks for the recipe! Hope all is well with you, your book launch tour and wedding preps. Looking fwd to raising a riot at our big brother’s wedding. Enjoy Christmas with the family and happy new years too.
PS – laadi bhabhi is what the brothers and sisters call their oldest brother’s wife

Hi Tania,
It was great getting to talk to you a little bit in Owensboro. I will have to try this recipe and let you know, especially cuz Mitesh and I love lasagna.
