wanted a car that would match the excitement i had while driving in india, bought a 2001 Toyota Corolla - stick shift.

Congratulations for the first car. First car is always preciuos and you remember that your lifetime. Use it well and be careful. Remember there are other drivers on the road and some walking traffic as well.

Congratulations Paras. As others have mentioned, get ready for the next step. Also keep all maintenance record of the car, do regular oil change at 3k, and most important - try to keep your driving record CLEAN. It helps in keeping insurance cost low.

Oh yes, Suresh Fua mentioned doing the oil changes at 3k. That is what the oil change people would recommend but the 3k requirement is really a myth. Everyone please read this:
