Happy Independence Day

Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes rarely in history, We are celebrating our 60th year of Independence.

Hey Paras,
I enjoyed watching the video. Happy belated independence day to you as well.
Stories about independence are some of my favorite because you can feel the amount of hope and ambition that the country had. The nation’s leaders were like parents and the country was like a newborn child. They dreamed big about what the child would become. I’m not sure the country has turned out quite how they had imagined. The worst part about all the growth and progress is that there is the corruption infection that is running wild.
But the country has the strength of a billion people. If they work together, every single problem can be addressed. People don’t realize their power.
