Khushi Niagara 01

Khushi is in preparation to join the army squad. She crawls around the entire place… under the table, over the bed (no she doesn’t climb yet). Jumps on us while we try to sit in search of peaceful moments. She stands up holding ANYthing… coffee table, chair, us!! She babbles a lot and tries to communicate with us. Her favourite toy is still a ball. She enjoys playing with it, throws it and then runs (crawls) to catch hold of it again. She had a blast with her nana-nani and is having fun with her dada-dadi. She really tires them out. There have been moments when the grandparents have said… bas… have aane tu le, ame thaki gaya.

Here are some of her latest snaps. Enjoy!

guitarharmonicasailingwhite coat ceremony

Hi Fam!

I’m writing from Baltimore, primarily to let you all know I’m gonna miss everyone at the reunion.
Work is taking me to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I’m excited about the trip, but wish I could have made it to Pennsylvania as well.

The summer has been beautiful.
Sailing, music-making, throwing dinner parties, playing capoeira, biking, letting my hair grow.
I finished my first year of medical school. Now I’m spending the summer doing some policy research on national responses to the HIV and TB epidemics.

I wanna extend an open invitation to y’all to visit me in Baltimore. If you come before it gets cold, I’ll take you out on the water.

The pics are of me playing the guitar and harmonica, sailing, and at the white coat ceremony with friends and family.

My dad wanted me to post this for everyone to read…

Enjoy!
