Mangal Kaka, as all kids called him, was really a close friend of our family members. He helped all of us when we visited India. He was expert at packing. As an individual, he was smart, witty and energetic and daring.
We were so sad to originally learn about his sickness and prayed that he will overcome it with his inner strength. But that was not meant to be. This is a great loss to his wife, children and the immediate family. We pray that his soul is in peace. Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to all dear family members and friends.

Even though we all realized his fate, it’s still hard to accept the reality. He was always there for us in however small or big matters. He had helped me personally in so many things from packing to everything else. He was like a big brother. He used to make me laugh with his sense of humor. He will surely be missed when we go to India. No one can replace him.
May his family find the strength in this time. We will miss you, Mangal.

Mangal kaka as a body has passed away but Mangal as a spirit…as a philosophy…and as a soul will never die. I have hundreds of memories with him while growing up and every time I visited india. I always thought of him as the strongest man alive while growing up and I will never forget his humor, unstoppable spirit and deep love for us. Thank you for everything…we will truly miss you.

Mangal was truly more than brother….he was “sab dukho ki aek dava”. May god give his soul eternal peace. Nothing can take his place, we will miss him always.

I have many fond memories of Mangal kaka from the time we were young. His eating of marchas, his jokes about “Chhagan and Magan” and his endless teasing whenever he came. He was a source of energy, joy and real strength. He never failed to try his best and be there for all of us. This loss is heart-felt. He will be in our prayers. Heart-felt sympathies from both of us to his families and loved ones.

I think all of us thought of Mangal kaka as the strongest man alive. He could make, brake, or fix anything; from wrist watches to trucks and anything between. He always approached life with strength and a belief that anything was accomplishable, and best of all was the humor filled spirit that never seemed to wear. It is hard for me to come to grips with the fact that despite being able to drive nails into wood with his knuckles, he too was vulnerable. We will always remember him as the strongest man, and keep dear the lessons of life that we have learned from him. Our heart felt condolences for his family and everyone that loved him.

Mangal,I remember when he join Sagar stores. He was only 19 at that time. He was like our 5th brother. Like many of you said the word” impossible” was out of his dictionary. He was very courageous and strong man.I can not forget the days and time when we were working together in Sagar stores. You will never be forgotten Mangal!!(his real name was Khengarji)
