This seems like a beautiful implementation of a simple idea. What is yet to be seen is how all their promised "interactions" with multiple devices like the cameras and phones will pan out. In a perfect world it would all work, but as we know with our laptop/computer experience, that is not always the case.

I heard about this Microsoft surface technology a few months ago and am looking forward to going to some hotel or some conference where i can play with it :)

Another cool one to check out is Microsoft Photosynth, which is a way to create a 3d enviornment from a set of images taken in a common enviornment. Take a look at a demo of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p16frKJLVi0

Amazing advance. I had not heard about this before. Pace of technology is very fast. I am still waiting for displays and documents that come with fragrance also. So you can smell rose, lily and gulab jambun, along with their pictures.

That does sound very impressive, but what happens to the tasks like writing a paper, or doing the mundane school/work tasks that we need and use computers for?
