Dr. Denzel Smith
Posted by Hans April 26th, 2007
Dear Family Members:
Dr. Denzel Smith (Duncan’s Nana Bapa) expired yesterday at the age of 95 in Vero Beach Florida. For the last week he was at his home, under the loving care of Sara, and other family members. He left this body peacefully. He will be cremated in Florida and the ashes will be buried in Arlington Cemetery next to his wife in June. He served in the Navy for many years, and so the honor of being buried in Arlington National Cemetery. His pleasant manners and earthly confidence will be missed by those who loved him. We had the privilege of meeting him in 2006, although he could not attend Sheela’s wedding due to his marginal health at that time. May his soul rest in peace.
