Have you heard someone say, “i’ll be there in a jiffy!” to mean that they’ll be there “right away”? Ever wondered what a Jiffy is?

Well I discovered today that a “jiffy” is actually a unit of time: 3.3357 times 10 raised to the -11 (3.3357 * 10-11) seconds. It is named for the length of time it takes light to travel 1 cm in a vacuum!

Pretty cool huh? :) Ok I better get back to work in a jiffy. Hope everyone has been well.
