A lot is being said and discussed about Reservations for castes and tribes for higher education in India.
Current quotas, relaxations and preferences:
The quota system sets aside a proportion of all possible positions for members of a specific social group. Those not belonging to the designated communities can compete only for the remaining positions, while members of the designated communities can compete for all positions (reserved and open). Even if no qualified SC/ST[Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes] applicants are available, the reserved positions can not be released for general population but have to be kept vacant or carried over to the future.

Post regularly and this also goes to say to all my brother sisters who enjoy reading posts and plain commenting. We are interested in knowing how you are doing in your life, how you are dealing with it and what are you accomplishing? When we write the tag line of Medavo as,
