All this past week I was suffering with severe allergies. I could not figure out what was wrong. I was doing my yoga, I was taking my medicines. But the allergies were still not quitting. Even Neev was making fun of me saying “pappa acchu” and he would take a napkin and wipe his own nose and then look at me and smile. This morning I was ready to say that the Indian tablets I got for Singulair (the American name) were no good. So I called Dhiren and was trying to seek a better solution, and through the conversation we figured out that chewable tablets are for chewing. I was taking them with water. Dhiren said “if you take them like that your stomach acids will kill the tablet”. I was like oh so that’s why its called chewable. What an insight!!! I chewed my Indian Singulair tablet today and “Jai Hind” allergies are gone. So remember chewable tables are for chewing.
