A little boy wanted to meet God.
He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of juice and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his juice when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.
Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?” He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied, “I ate corn chips in the park with God.” However, before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or! a lifetime. Embrace all equally!
Have lunch with God……..
Queen Elizabeth, Bush & Musharraf died & went straight
to hell.
Queen Elizabeth said “I miss England, I want to call
England and

She called and talked for about 5 minutes, then she
asked “Well,

She wrote him a cheque and went to sit back on her
chair.
Bush was soo jealous, he starts screaming,
“My turn! I wanna call the United States, I want to
see how
everybody is doing there too”
He called and talked for about 2 minutes, then he
asked “Well,
devil How much do I owe you????
The devil says “Ten million dollars”
With a smug look on his face, he made a cheque and
went to sit
back on His chair.
Musharraf was even more jealous & starts screaming,
“I want to call Pakistan too, I wanna talk to the
ministers, to
the deputy, I ! wanna Talk to everybody of my
Parliment”…..
He called Pakistan and he talked for about twenty
hours, he talked
&Talked & talked, then he asked “Well, devil how much
do I owe
you????
The devil says “Twenty dollars”.
Musharraf is stunned & says “Twenty dollars??? Only

The devil says “Well if you make a call from one hell

Hello All,
I havent posted in a long time. Lately I wasnt feeling good about myself. I had gained some weight and used to feel tired by the end of the day. Even when going 2 flights of stairs up I used to feel a bit short of breath. We had been toggling with the idea of exercising may be for the last 2 years but really did not do anything substantial. 2 weeks ago we bought an elliptical. since then I decided to be religious with exercise and continued to do it almost daily. I noticed an immediate difference. In 2 weeks now going up 6 flights of stairs does not make me short of breath. I feel more energetic. I remember whenever I used to talk with Nalini Kaki on the phone she used to always inspire us to exercise. thanks kaki. I really think this makes a difference and definitely will continue with an exercise regimen.

Most Enjoyable part for me was getting up early morning at 4 o’clock everyday, & start climbing about five.We start in all dark hardely one can see next step. but thats the time to talk with nature, enjoy the beauty of star & moon, even sometime tourch light feel destruction to me in that nirav shanti & akhand anand. Cool breez enhance the energy, With full of fresh air & atmosphere, mind & body became full of energy & freshness. At half the way starts light prakash, i.e. Sojakho. Now birds kalrav, sky getting ready to invite sun, & even see more yatriks with new chh-hal–pha-hal. “JAY JAY SHREE ADINATH”.
After half way walkway starts, it’s fun. Early mornig till 7;30 we can feel the difference, In dada’s deraser everywhere diva’s soneri prakash & alokik shanti, dada ni bhawhya murti, what else one wants?
I feel like, if I have about 4 months to stay there, can do only 1 yatra everyday & enjoy the whole morning with dada only.
Thanks to Nalini for good company, It was not possible to go alone, We really enjoyed with whole heart.
LOVE YOU ALL, PRANAM EVERYBODY.
Nilam and I were talking about documenting all of our recipes, especially the ones that we have made up our selves. The original idea was to have it available as a booklet that we can give out to our family and friends. But then we got even a better idea of having them on Medavo… and also extending the same invitation to the rest of the family. We just thought it would be an awesome resource to have online.
Let me know your thoughts,
To start off, here is what my very own version of a Mushroom shak,
“Mushroom Delight”
Ingredients
10 oz Pack of Baby Bella Mushrooms
½ Medium size Onion
1 ½ handful Raisins
1 ½ handful dried Cranberries
3 Table Spoons of Olive Oil
According To taste
Ginger
Garlic
Green Chilly Peppers (hot)
Red Hot Pepper
Turmeric
Gharam Masala
½ lemon
Heat up the Olive Oil in a flat non stick pan.
Sauté Onions, Garlic and Ginger in the oil.
When onions are slightly brown put in the cranberries and raisins and let them cook for 1 minute, then add the mushrooms and rest of the spices to the mix.
let the whole mixture cook for at least five to seven minutes, then add ½ cup of water. (do not add water before this).
Let it cook for another ten minutes.
The point is to let the mushrooms loose all the water and get small and let the Raisins and Cranberries regain water and become juicy.
Add lemon juice as needed after tasting it and let it cook for a couple more minutes.
Serve with Rotli
Hey guys. I haven’t written a life update in a long time…And I guess now’s a good time as ever. My life has been going well. At work, I am working on my first “major” project. The project is to integrate the new yahoo maps into our trip planner product (http://travel.yahoo.com/trip). I have been working on it hard for two months. For the last two weeks I have worked appx 100 hrs per week on this. Hopefully by the end of this week it will be integrated and pushed to production. A lot of people on my team are involved in the effort, but I am the lead engineer for it, and so I am also the person responsible for it at the end of the day. I should also add that I am really enjoying my work…time passes fast when you enjoy what you do! I am going to go home when it is done for a mini vacation…to spend time with the newly arrived yatris and bai (and the two dads of course)…really looking forward to it. Today evening I will dedicate to myself as my personal life has been a bit neglected (cleaning apt, laundry…shaving
)…and I am also sorry if i havent called some of you back or what not. We’ll all catch up soon! Ok guys, thats all for now, will talk to you all more soon.
here is something more to laugh about that Neevubhai has learned since we have come to Boston.
any thing of his own for example his picture he points to his chest and says “hee tojo ayi”
and any thing of yours he will point to your chest and says “he mujo ayi”
its understandalbe how he has picked that up… since we point to his chest and say “he tojo ayi” ….
Today he is goign to have his picture taken with the easter bunny… he is very excited about this.. he saw the easter bunny display in the mall on Tuesday and has been talking about it since… I guess the ten second tom days are over.
