Last week, at Yahoo! we had something called a Hack Day. On this day, you have to come up with an idea for a project, and then you have one day to develop it (whatever you want, doesn’t have to be work related). The whole day is crazy, they give you tons of food and drinks and whatever resources you want. My only focus was to work on this project. I was so tired by the end, I had been typing fast all day, I could hardly think straight. At the end of the day, they have presentations and everyone votes on the projects. My project (called the Magical Mystery Movie Tour) was rated 4th highest across Yahoo! (out of around 100 projects), and I got first place in my own team of 70 or so people. The award was that I could take myself and my friends out to dinner and spend up to $150, and then expense it to Yahoo!

Soooo tonight I took 7 of my friends out to a nice Indian restaurant in Mountain View called Shiva’s. We had a great feast You can see some of the pics below.
