In a manner reminiscent of many such moments, Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday took the sting out of the Opposition’s attack on the Ordinance issue by announcing her resignation from both the posts she holds. After a meeting that had top Congress leaders in a huddle at 10 Janpath on Thursday morning, Sonia insisted on quitting as both National Advisory Council chief and MP from Rae Bareilly in the Lok Sabha.

I think for cricket crazy fans, the SA – AUS final match was the greatest match ever seen.
Australia made 434/4 in 50 overs.
Match writeup and scorecard
South Africa made 438/9 in 49.5 overs (one wicket to spare and one ball remaining) ;) Exciting last over finish
Here are the highlights of the SA successful run chase. Watch it!

After many days I had chance to look at all recent postings I had missed and also missed Parth and Neev’s recent postings.
Can we do one thing like in our Kutch Patrika we can post one line that don’t forget to visit parth and neev’s new post that way we can direct attention to that post.
Loved Parth’s new video, can’t believe how quickly he is growing up. Loved his and Dadi’s smile as well. Need to visit him soon and play with him.
I think we have two nice tennis stars of futur in making. Go Maru and Haria tennis team.

Happy Birthday!!!

Last Thursday, President Hundret Resigned from his job at my school, Case Western Reserve University. A couple weeks ago, he was given a vote of No Confiedence by the College or Arts and Sciences to raise awareness for their program. After that, it just went downhill. The vote of no confidence that was given was publicized everywhere and was the talk of the entire campus. I guess that vote of no confidence definitely raised the awareness and attention it hoped to get…

Hey guys, just wanted to write about something cool. Tom Cruise came to visit Yahoo! today. He was a quite a bit late as he was flying his plane from LA to here, and there was some bad weather along the way. I could have gone to see him, but I had too much work to do…so I saw some of the live broadcast from my computer of his visit here. It was very cool…he’s a pretty personable guy…I had before never realized how many movies he is in that I really liked. Katie Holmes (his wife) was also there. I heard about some funny stories and got to see some unreleased footage of his new film Mission Impossible 3 :) Anyway…hope everyone have been well!

The pic above is of Tom and Yahoo’s CEO Terry Semel arm wrestling :) You can see more pics from his visit here: http://flickr.com/photos/tags/ytomcruise/interesting/

I am back from a fun filled vacation to the East Coast. Starting from
Day 1: Saturday, reached Boston at 5am and then skipped Skiing plans coz of the sunny weather and went Golfing with Ashish and Pranav. It was so much fun learning golf. In the evenings, visited Downtown Boston.
Day 2: Sunday, My friend Lynn(from Kutch medical camp 2005) and her husband visited me. We cooked lunch for them (pasta, some bread, Jamba juice). It was nice meeting her. We then checked some cool audio video systems in Tweeters. I caught the bus form Boston to New York in the evening and reached priti – Dhiren bheniya’s house in the night at around 10:30pm.
Day 3: Monday, From there veer has given the description of our trip.
Also visited Hans mama and Usha mami’s house in Danbury. Gave a surprise birthday treat to Jyoti masi. Made cake for her.
The weather was nice all week long. I flew back on Sunday morning. Flight was on time. Today, back to normal routine schedule.
Thank you everybody for the great time i had with each one of you.

3) Late night and early morning of the 13th and 14th: Jijaji, Paras, Avi, and I went around Times Square. Looked around for a watch for Avi, but all the shops were closed. Paras and Jijaji got “Mamania” and “Haria” done (i have pics of that). drunken guy story (ask Avi). walked for a bit, saw some guy doing spray-paint art (pics of that too). then Avi got her portrait done (pics of that too). then we went back and paras, avi, and i slept at like 4 am :D
