I had one of my tooth root canaled before i came to America. One month of me being here, the cap or the covering on that tooth came out.. i was worried as Now what? Dental treatment is too costly in America. i would be better off going to india for a $1000 return fare and get my teeth cleaned for 300Rs. rather than paying 1000$ for getting my teeth cleaned over here,.
So, i was thinking over this for a couple of weeks and something struck me.. I work in the Dental Bookstore.. can’t anything be done.. Some free treatment.. ? I spoke to one of my dental friends and she told me that we have board exams coming up in Mid April and we will require patients for that. You can get all your teeth cleaned for free. You will have to pass the screening and if we clear you, you are all set. i was like Awesome..
Today was my screening, She took around 3-4 Xrays from all angles of my teeth and was like you need to brush your teeth twice a day(that’s minimum) and also floss everyday. other than that, your teeth are fine and we will call you for the board exams..
